LAST MEETING: Lloyd Davidson presented a digital display of his recent visit to Patagonia. Thanx Lloyd . . .it was a nice trip.
NOVEMBER MEETING: For our November meeting, this Thursday, Ron Gould, a Chicago based photographer with over 30 years experience in Corporate and Location Photography, will show a digital presentation of travel photos from China, Mongolia, Tibet, Tuscany and others as well as pass around "3D" photos. Gotta be interesting!
CLUB LUNCHEON: With 34 in attendance, good food and a renowned speaker, the luncheon was a huge success. We also had the opportunity to recognize and thank Bill Schwanbeck for over 25 years as Program and Field Trip Chair. He has secured speakers for our meetings and luncheon/dinners and also organized numerous outings so that our members could enjoy, appreciate and photograph what our wonderful area of the greater Chicago (including Milwaukee) has to offer. Both he and Mary Lou were guests of the "Club" at the luncheon and Bill was acknowledged with a "Certificate Presentation. Way to go Bill!
EXHIBITS:
Northlite Theater exhibit will be coming down Mon., Nov. 28th at 9:30 a.m.
Skokie Library will be going up Sat., Dec. 3rd to Fri. Dec. 23 at 9:30 a.m.
ELECTION OF CLUB OFFICERS: At our November meeting, the "Board" will present a slate of officers for the 2012-13 year term. Any additional Nominations will be taken from the floor at that meeting. Voting will take place at the December meeting.
CLUB THEME: The "Theme" for November is "Hot and/orCold."
Members who have old and/or recent photography magazines are encouraged to bring them to meetings to share with other members. Please bring magazines which are complete; no articles cut out.
